For immediate release: DPM
Sports/Spiuk-Kuips USA launches new U.S. Web site.
DPM Sports/Spiuk-Kuips USA launched it's new U.S. Web site
today. The new site offers a thorough and detailed presentation of
the large and comprehensive Spiuk and Kuips lines. We're thrilled
to have the new site on line. It provides a wealth of information
about Spiuk and Kuips products and, most important, shows every item,
model, and color we have available in stock for immediate shipping
in the U.S. and Canada. For our first months in business we had our
U.S. "welcome" page that led viewers to the Spiuk-Kuips site in Spain.
Browsing the Spanish Spiuk site sometimes caused confusion for dealers
and consumers as they would see products that we did not yet have
or did not exist yet. European release dates are different than ours
and in Spain, with Spiuk being the leading brand in many product
categories, they post products well before their release because
their dealers are simply going to purchase everything Spiuk makes
and take delivery when available. In the U.S., with us being a new
company, dealers are not so much interested in what we may release
in six months as in whether we have the six pairs of bib shorts,
or stems and bars, or the 10 helmets they need shipped today. They
can now see exactly what our catalog is comprised of and, if its
on the site, we stock it. We've provided new images of all products
along with nice enlargements for better views. We also wrote and
rewrote all product copy and technical data for the American consumer.
Anyone who has spent time on some foreign manufacturer's Web sites
knows that product information that is translated into English is
often poorly translated and does not provide the user with the information
they need. This site solves this issue for us.
Like everything we do in our business, this site remains the focus
of constant attention and we view it as a work in progress that
we will consistently develop and improve. |
